Title: Time and temperature

Hello,

Using the thermie today the recipe said 'cook 80c 5 mins' but I noticed that it took 4+ mins for the thermie to reach 80c, so only really cooked for 40 secs at that temp.

My question is should I be waiting till it gets to temp and then cooking for 5 mins, or does the 5 mins in the recipe account for the time it takes to heat up?

Hope that makes sense.....

Just follow the recipe as stated. The instructions take into account heating time ;)
