Title: WHite Chicken Chilli - MOTM cookbook

How disappointing - I know that I should have checked more thouroughly before quickly beginning this dish after arriving home late  :(  :(  :(.The only dish I have ever made that I was not able to find a positive - despite reducing the amount of stock from 800g (I believed was excessive for 500g chicken meat) - the end result was a tasteless chicken soup style dish. When compared to the majority of dishes I have tried from Meat on the Menu, from my experience this recipe should never have been published.  Hope all are having a better night than I!!!!!!

and here i was thinking yum that sounds nice..will have to try it then i read your review...thanks for the heads up..i guess someone had to try it on here so thanks for the feedback..saves the rest of us the disaster!

And here I was thinking the EDC is the only cookbook that doesnt seem to be tested. Are any recipes from the cookbooks tested?

This was my first try at using the thermomix!  I decided to make this recipe. I made a shopping list and off to the shops!  The outcome - I made soup!  Whaa.....  In future I will check here before trying a recipe.

So has Thermomix got a list of corrections? 

Told Hubby, that we are having soup tonight lol.

Hi Olga, welcome to the forum with your first posting and your first disaster.  How's your luck, picking something which is so obviously not right in quantities/instructions.  May I suggest you try some recipes from the forum and as you said, always check on here before making recipes from the books.  If you can't find a review, ask anyway as someone may have done it and not made a comment. Let me reassure you that you will have successes.

hello and welcome olga, i lived in rockingham for awhlie back in the early 90s i still have family there,its a lovely place and i do miss it sometimes  :)

Thanks for the warning. What we should all do is tweak it and work out what's wrong with the recipe. If you're new at the TMX, sometimes you don't look at a recipe and decide that the speed is too high or time is too long. I often reduce the speed when chopping and always cook recipes for less time and check then cook again if necessary.
