Title: Hi , I'm new to thermomix and new to this forum

 Hi everyone, I was excited to finally get my Thermomix a couple of weeks ago after a long time of saving ( stay at home Mum, single income family etc etc ).I am really into healthy food , not processed or full of rubbish. Our youngest son has a diagnosis of autism and we  find a clean diet helps him... I am looking forward to trying out all these new recipes  :)

Welcome elli j. There are many of us who strive  for a healthier diet- some due to necessity because of allergy or intolerance, some by choice and some with children who are better off with a basic diet for one reason or another. My DS2 carries a little too much weight so we strive to reduce fat & sugar in his diet whilst maintaining "normal" looking foods to take to school. It's all challenge but made easier by owning a TMX

Hi ellie j, welcome to the forum.  You can be proud of your efforts to save enough to buy this wonderful machine - it is testament to the fact you only want the best for your family.  Have fun on here and enjoy some of the wonderful recipes our forum members share with us.

Let us know what you have cooked so far ellie j so that we can see what type of meals your family enjoy.  Maybe then others can give you some more suggestions to try.

Thanks JudyDawn ... so far I have made sweet and savoury, mains and dips ,soups and breads .. a bit of everything lol .. anything quick and easy is good !!! I have 3 boys and a husband to feed so I am constantly cooking ... Lucky I have a TMX :)

Hi elli j - welcome!! Have you seen the 'all-in-one meals' thread (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=54.0)? There's some great ideas there! We all love meals where Thermy does all the work  ;D

Don't worry GoneCrazy - it's coming - hopefully Monday!!!! And I'll be there Tuesday to do your demo - yay! Looking forward to meeting you!  :)
