Is everyone aware that this month there is an incentive for anyone hosting a demo in April that they can buy a Bowl & Blade set fo $100 off - on top of the usual host reward? If anyone buys as a result of the demo then the B&B is half price at $195. Great for anyone who wants one but can't come at the full price.................

I have been wanting a thermomix for ages - I think this deal might just tip me over the edge! ;D
-
My sister has just started as a consultant so I wanted to help her and have another demo, so I have booked one in for the 9th April. Hopefully there is a sale and I can get another bowl set and my sister will receive some commission at the same time. Now that would be an ideal outcome.

Can my friend have a demo, buy herself a thermomix and another bowl at half price? I'm already having a demo so I can get a (hopefully) half price bowl, but will hold another one for her to buy the bowl at half price if i have to. I hope this makes sense.

The purchase needs to be from someone other than the host. Ie you host a demo, a guest purchases a TM = you can buy a bowl and blade at 1/2 price. Your friend wont qualify if she buys a TM at her own demo. Does that make sense?

:'(
I thought I could get one if I bought this month! :'(

You can I guess if you buy at someone else's demo and the host is happy to pass on the savings. You can host a demo buy at your demo and get one for 100$ off but you can't get one half price.

What is the current Bowl & Blade price? I am trying to figure out if it is worth having a demo to get the $100 off.

I've been waiting to this special to have a demo. Also managed a sale so just need to sit back and wait for it to arrive. Yeeha!!!

There are a couple of options if you are planning on buying anyway. Order your TM over the phone with your consultant & have a delivery demo - then you qualify to get the discount on the additional bowl & blade. Otherwise have your demo asap & then book a delivery demo before the end of the month...........

Then can your Hubby have a demo and you being the guest can buy the machine at the demo. It will mean your Hubby can get the bowl for $195 even though he doesn't have a thermomix. hahaha

Ha Ha! I like your thinking FoodiePep - I guess it will depend on how creative my demonstrator is willing to be!

And does it cost anything to have a varoma demo? I thought I read that somewhere with the new varoma demo? ???

Chelsea there is no cost other than the host needing to provide a few ingredients. :)

You need to provide most of the ingredients Chelsea. 500g frozen berries, Chicken, pumpkin, capsicum cashew dip ingredients, lemons garlic herbs, basics like sugar flour stock coconut milk etc. It shouldn't be too pricey ;) worth it if you know of someone interested in purchasing a TM and even if not for $100 off. You would really benefit from having a second bowl ;)

I've just purchased a Thermomix here in Australia and obviously missed on the bowl & blade set offer. My consultant did try to get me a second bowl half price but it looks like the thermo-serve is the only thing on offer for now :-[
So I checked out the french Thermomix website: https://www.vorwerk-shop.com/fr/html/thermomix/shop,product,show_kat,6.html
and found out that you could purchase bowl & blade for 186.90 Euros = A$250 (roughly). Since I have some family in France I might look at purchasing a few things from Thermomix there.
What a shame Thermomix Australia isn't adjusting their prices with the Aussie dollar being so strong at the moment...
-
Carine, I can understand your frustration with the prices not being adjusted but on the other hand, when the dollar isn't so strong the prices aren't adjusted then either. ;) ;)
Vorwerk do also have a hand in the price setting to a degree so that the prices are generally an average price world wide, (for a very long time it didn't matter where you priced them from they worked out pretty much the same cost) that has obviously changed in the last little while with the Aussie dollar becoming so strong. Whether it stays so strong or not I guess we need to wait and see and that too will I guess dictate what happens with our prices :)

Very true Kathryn, and also I don't imagine Thermomix Australia import in small quantities so the change in the value of the dollar probably hasn't affected their current costs.
