Last week, after reading a particular section of the forum, I clicked "mark as read". Now, whenever I go into any part of the forum it's "marking as read" all the messages in that section. I've tried clicking it again to see if that turns it back off but that didn't work, and I can't seem to find any other way to stop it doing this.
Any suggestions?

haven't experienced that problem myself. I always bring up unread posts, and if there are any topics left that don't interest me I will click "mark as read". this will delete all the remaining topics, until the next new one comes in and the list starts again.
try clicking "mark unread" in that particular section and see what happens...

Sorry I can't help on that problem. I tend to go through the forum and look at things I haven't read without using those sorts of things.

That's exactly why I did it, I had read what I wanted out of a particular forum, and wanted to mark that all read so I could tell if there were new posts.... but now it keeps doing it!
I'll see how it goes tonight.
