I made with 100g dried apricot, 100g dates and 100g walnut. I blend them lonbger then recipes, abour 35 seconds.
Quick, yummy and great alternative for my sweet tooth. They are in the freezer now, would be my snack to bring to work.

These sound good. I thought I may make them to take away but I think that I may consume them all befoire we even get there. :-\

I think I will make these, but instead of walnut I'll use almond. Thanks for making me aware of this recipe.

Sounds yum, Cookie. Do you have to blanch the almond first?

I wasn't going to. More fibre. Actually I might go off and do these now. Beats cleaning the bathroom.

Made one this arvo, 100g dried nectarine, 100g dates, 100g almond with skin. Found that this time a bit dry, so put 1/2 lime juice (have plenty from the garden). I love this one better then the first version.

Yesterday I made 2 batches of these: Walnut and Date and Apricot, Date and Almond.
All I can say is quick, easy and delicious! The Walnut and Date almost taste like little sticky date pudding balls. I am inspired to try out different combinations. The Apricot ones were a little drier than the walnut and date but I like the idea of a bit of lime juice for moisture. Even my almost 2 yr old didnt turn up her nose- they look just like choc truffles! :)
Happy to have found these quick easy sweet treats to freeze and take to work and bring out when guests are here. At health food stores you pay a fortune for those date logs and these are very similar!

I have to agree they are delicious. They disappeared very fast here. I must make some more.
