Can the varoma and the clear lid be used in the microwave?

I don't know the answer to this one fundj but I wouldn't.  As a point of interest, I just tried it for size only as I thought it would be too big and I found it would definately touch the sides and not turn anyway.

It def doesn't go in the microwave. The temps are too high and you will void your warranty.
