Hi milnead, welcome to the forum.  You will find it very interesting on here, lots to read, beautiful pictures to entice you to make this or that and very friendly people willing to help you out if you need some answers.  Have fun.

Yes, a TM31. Looks good. I made 3 recipes yesterday (an easy chicken curry suggested by the demonstrator, a lovely ragù bolognese and a vegetable curry from a non Thermomix book. Actually, I'm very interested in adapting "mainstream" recipes for TM.
