Name of Recipe: Asparagus and Tomato Sauce
Number of People: 6
Ingredients:
For 500g pasta (6 servings)
500g asparagus (washed, woody parts of stems removed, cut into pieces)
45g extra virgin olive oil
400g canned diced tomatoes
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Grated parmesan
Preparation:
Insert "butterfly". Put oil and asparagus in TM Bowl. Cook for 2 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1. (You may cook a bit less or more depending on the quality of asparagus)
Mix your sauce with boiled-drained pasta
Serve into plates. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and grated parmesan

While the rest of the family has left over beef casserole tomorrow I'm going to try this. I got some lovely asparagus at the markets and was wondering what to try.

The only problem with asparagus is... when you go to the bathroom it does smell!!! :D
Well... I've just recently found out that your pee might smell when you have asparagus. I almost thought there was something wrong with me! :)
