It sounds fabulous and if I could buy one this instant I would. This is what I assume it is. See if I am close???
I imagine something the same colour as Varoma. A little smaller. Kind of like a plastic casserole dish, without the holes in the bottom. Something that keeps food warm. Something you can delightfully take to the table, like Tupperware.
Where can I get one? We don't have them here :(

They are only available in Oz Lee. :'( I'm sure one of the demonstrators will fill you in all about them. ;)

Hi Lee, they are a stainless steel container (I'm not so great with descriptive words at this hour of the morning) that keeps food hot, or cold, for ages and are incredibly handy. Come to think of it, I shouldn't really be the one answering this query as I know several other members will be far more informative and helpful that I am. I am sure JD will also track down a thread for you where alternatives to the thermoserver were discussed a couple of months ago - among them was a Tupperware alternative.
Good luck as a consultant. With your and Ed's enthusiasm, I know you'll make a success of it.

I live in the UK and they are not available here,so no I don't have one.I'm not a demonstator either.I knew there was a travel bag for the TM but the German version sounds very classy.I think you would make a very good enthusiastic demonstrator Lee.

Lee, do you have thermos flasks, thermosaver is like a double walled bowl with a lid, similar principle to a thermos. The hot air gets trapped between the walls and keeps your food hot. These are stainless steel but I have bought some online that are lined in metal and plastic on the outside. eBay, I think they are Indian. Look pretty and work well.

Lee, thermoservers are very practical but VERY ugly! I got one when I purchased my TMX and, in our family, it's called the dog dish because it truly looks like one... :-\: stainless steel round insulated bowl with a black plastic cover. Great idea but dreeeeeeeeeeadful design!

If you have an Indian grocer anywhere near you, check out their food thermoses - they will do the job.
Carine, I love the look of the thermosaver - funny how we all see things differently. It is so sleek compared to my Indian one and easier to wash & dry too.
Has anyone ever approached their H.O. in their country telling them of how us lucky Australians seem to be the only ones who can get our hands on one of these essential items. It is just unfortunate that we can't buy as many as we want, it is another one of those deals that has conditions on it so Lee, if and when you come to Australia to visit your Mums, you won't even be able to get one then.

Gosh i am in shock, i thought everyone would be able to purchase, especially in germany.
I have 3 and use all 3 most days at dinner time :)

They are an Oz thing only as Grace actually owns the patent to them (as I am led to believe).
Lee if you REALLY want one, get a demo organised when you come back to your Mum's a Xmas and you will be able to purchase one for $30 OR get your mum to have a demo before you come and buy it for you for xmas lol.
Just make sure she doesn't fall in love with the TMX as they are a HOST only reward and if she buys she gets one for free and I am sure she will want to keep it! :D :D

My first thermoserver was free with my demo and purchase of tm.
The next 2 i bought at 2 different demos I had. At the time you have a demo and can purchase 1 at 1/2price. So 3 demos 3 thermoservers :)

Actually funny you should say that, my consultant & I were just talking the other day about having another fun do at my place. We all have such fun its more like me hosting a party but having a caterer in. We eat, we drink, we laugh, we chat, they go on to quite late. Mind you i dont think the consutant minds she has had some good sales from my parties :)

lee there are other options available...some online like others have mentioned and Tupperware do them as well...I have the tupperware and use them most meals...I think they are called Iso Duo but thats here...no clue in germany..here is a photo! I had heard ikea has somethign like that but our ikeas dont...couldnt find anything remotely in that area...

fabulous. I will get onto my Tupperware lady at once. I just wanted Thermo-everything!!!! I've seen aprons, bags, stuffed toys, you name it! I will suffice with the Tupperware until I get the REAL DEAL. You're right though, it is not SO pretty. Off to find Indian food stores today. Thank you all for your help!

A friend/colleague of my wife is going to Aus soon. Its a shame you can't outright buy them, rather than having to hold a demo or I'd order one and get it delivered to her to bring back to Germany :) I do like the look of the Thermoserver and it saves researching a decent alternative.
Letting my wife go to a Tupperware party would simply be dangerous. Gawd knows what she'd come back with!

Tarasis, you do see people selling them on e-Bay occasionally but generally they go for ridiculous prices. Don't pay more that $60 as it would cost a fair bit to send from Aust to Germany on top of purchase price.

Indeed I had a look on eBay and it was looking like €35 (Aus $45) to post for some of the auction stuff.

Beware that hole for the serving sdpoon to fit in. Our manager has one of those and it's not a patch on the Thermoserver, which has a decent seal to keep the heat in.

I'm having a Tupperware party in a couple of weeks at school. Best way to get tonnes of free stuff. But as i have so much, I am allowing the free stuff to be "won" by the new stuff who have none. So long as I get an insulated bowl free, the rest can go to the others. Come to my party one and all, pm for the address!!!!!

Oh Lee I would love to come after my obsession with the Thermomix is my next obsession Tupperware I think I have or have had everything they have ever sold!!! ;D
The flight and leaving DH with 4 kids under 9 maybe a bit of a stumbling block though!!

Oh Lee I would love to but after having been to Hong Kong already on a girls trip I think the mother guilt would out weigh the fun of meeting you guys & a Tupperware party!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
