I love love love this recipe:

I found it by googling a few key ingredients and Thermomix.

JenJan - This is REALLY good! If you love CADA, you will love this too. I made this last night and served finely chopped onion separately (because my DH doesn't like raw onion) and it's delicious both ways. Thanks for posting this as it is destined to become the go to salad at my place this summer.

Persistenttiger - Verdict: nice. DH loved it. I think it needed some more acid - lemon juice maybe. It makes a lot. Next time I might just chop the onion and nuts in the tmx and hand dice everything else.

CADA = Coconut, Apples, Dates, Almonds.  I believe the recipe is in the EDC, but basically it is equal amounts (more or less) or each of the ingredients, or to taste - and, despite it sounding really simple, it is absolutely delicious.  You can add to it, change it, serve it as it is, have yoghurt with it, etc. etc. etc.  Try it, I'm sure you'll love it.

Here's (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1119.0) a bit of a discussion about it and some different versions PT.

What a silly way to measure almonds. DJ i have weighed it as best as i could and 5 tablespoons of whole almonds is approx 65g.

I really want to make this for dinner but don't have the almonds or cherry tomatoes, and we won't be around on the weekend so I don't want to buy any groceries. Will have to plan it for next week. I will be making the CADA for sure as well... looks delicious.

Went grocery shopping today. Mammoth effort, ergh. Am making this tonight to have with a green salad and steak we picked up from our friend's cattle farm. I can't buy beef from a butcher anymore!
