Title: Carob syrup & powder

I have recently been sent some carob syrup and carob powder to try out, both of which taste and smell very good.
I'm going to make some carob brownies using the powder, but does anyone else have any drop-dead gorgeous carob recipes I might want to try?

Here's (http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/2009/08/chocolate-or-carob-almond-smoothie.html) a carob almond smoothie on Quirky Jo's blog Amanda.  You will probably find a few more recipes on her blog.  Some failsafe recipes on the forum also use carob powder.

Hi,  I use carob powder for anything that says cocoa and it always works fine eg custards, cakes, biscuits, children's treats etc.  Just a slightly different taste.
 
I've never used or even heard of a carob syrup - is it just a sugar sauce with carob powder instead of cocoa. 

I do use Carob buds instead of choc buds, but they are not sweetened so do give a different taste.
