I finally got my TM yesterday and have already cooked 8 meals..... It is absolute fabulous.
I hope to find some great low fat recipes, I am on a 12 week body transformation program, I am sure TM will help me enormously but always great to swap some more recipes.
My situation is married with 1 fussy toddler!!!
I am also interested in recipes that increase fertility as I might not have to another cycle of IVF?!!!
Too excited and let the inspiration be on our sides!!!
love from Kununurra

Welcome to the forum Anita, you will find plenty of inspiration and advice here - you may have seen this thread in the past day or two, but take a look at Go the Green Smoothies (http://) here and follow the link re. macca powder.

Hello,
Been busy working!! But have been cooking a few meals! I think the Beef Rendang in the basic book is fantastic, it tastes really authentic! My mayonnaise did not turn out alright because I used olive oil. Anyone any ideas of which oil will give u the best results?
I am absolutely loving it. Still quiet challenging to be on the 12 week body transformation challenge.... But am doing not too bad I don't think...
Luv,
Anita

We love the beef rendang too. :)
With your mayo pure or light olive oil has less taste than extra virgin (in case you used extra virgin). Grapeseed oil is really good and my preference.

I use grapeseed oil too

For the Mayo., I use Rice Bran oil, 2/3rds. and 1/3rd. olive oil. We are very happy with this. Anitas.

Hi Anitas
Beef Rendang was the first meal I cooked in my Thermie and will definitely do it again. I had some cooked rice in the freezer so I dumped it in the Varoma tray, still frozen, and it steamed while the beef was cooking. The rice was lovely and fluffy. The meal received a big "thumbs-up" from DH.

Thanks gals!
I baked a chocolate cake today, will decorate it tomorrow for my hubbies b'day party! Can tell you tomorrow how it all went. Also, will make some dips out of the basic book. Anyone can recommend me the best 1 I have to try. I ve got loads of Basil growing, so I definitely will make the pesto. And I also will give the Dukah a go. Let me know your results, please.....
Today not feeling so well, got the runs a bit (went out for dinner last night with girls from work). No exercise for me today, made the lassi for breaky this morning but not use any sugar and still was quiet sweet, and, I made the mushroom soup and gee I am impressed in 12 minutes you ve got a healthy soup from scratch! I am loving the TM!
Have to name him too. Anyone has named theirs?
Cheers,
Anita
Btw I was going to cook fish tonight but not feeling up for fish because of last night, anyone recommendations what recipe is nice and simple and not too calorie ful???

Anitas, here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1009.0) is a thread regarding naming our Thermomixes.
Beetroot, parmesan and cashew dip (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=459.0) is nice. Check out Starters & snacks on the forum for more recipes.
A nice vegie risotto for tea perhaps if you can't stomach fish after last night. Otherwise I would have said any of the tuna recipes but perhaps another night. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

JD's French Onion Dip is excellent.

Hi Anitas. I'm in Kununurra at the moment. Great place. Did you see the photo of the TMX I saw at the market yesterday morning? (in Chit Chat section)
Hope you're feeling better now.
