Today I received this thoughtful gift from CC, an early birthday present, and just had to share it with the forum members.  How lucky am I - it is going to be such a talking point amongst our visitors. I can't thank you enough Denise  :-* :-* :-*

Mine is the day after JulieO's .....................................  guess I had better tell you, someone will let the cat out of the bag anyway  ;D    Sept 28th -  big 65th coming up, gosh that sounds old :-))

I am certainly going to cherish my mug. Apparently the bird mugs you bought whilst in the UK are Emma Bridgewater too Chookie.

Yvette, nothing special planned.  My girls shouted me to Las Vegas for my 60th (DD1 from Melbourne went with me), we tend to do special things every 10 years. Still a few weeks away and hadn't given it much thought but one thing's for sure - I won't be staying home, will be going out for a meal for sure providing all is well on the home front. Things are going well there at the moment.

If anyone is looking for something along these lines there is (or was) a stall at the St Kilda, Melbourne markets on a Sunday that does personalised crockery - not sure that it is as refined as CC's one for Judy, but it is a possibility for those living in Melbourne.  As I recall it is a blue pattern on white background - possibly based on a Dresden or Dutch traditional design.
