Title: Very excitement!!!

 On the weekend I cashed in a whole lot of Frequent Flyer points to book The Husband and myself on a trip to Italy in the middle of next year!
But wait ... there's more.
My youngest daughter is going on a student exchange to Vancouver, Canada.  She leaves next month and finishes up in January - at which point I will be using whatever is left of the points to go and pick her up.
Squeal!!!!
I've been wanting to go to Canada for years.

What a great year you've got coming up - I've only ever been to Vancouver once and nearly had to be bodily manhandled back onto the plane when it was time to leave as I liked it there so much.

As for Italy ... GORGEOUS, I'm sure you'll absolutely love it.  We'll be heading over there again around about this time next year and I'm counting the days already.  I'm very envious of you as you'll be on holiday, we'll be working!  Ah well, can't have everything - hope you post some really good stories of the places you visit, etc. and I can live them vicariously through your eyes.

How exciting Amanda!  I have always wanted to go to Canada too - I hear it is gorgeous.  And just think of all the shopping you can do whilst away - both in Italy and Canada (I'm definitely seeing shoes and handbags from Italy)  ;D

Shopping & food will be very high on my agenda for both trips.
Not so much shoes, but I do love a good handbag.
I've been to Italy before - about 3 years ago now and just can't wait to get back!

She's very chuffed.
She received her placement yesterday and is going to a family with 12 kids - although only (!) five of them live at home.
