The current issue of the BBC Good Food Magazine has a 'free' silicone spatular which is ideal for cleaning the TM bowl. The magazine is excellent too!
-
I love this magazine and buy it regularly. Sadly we don't usually get the 'bits' with it out here in Australia. The recipe in it are great and I love their newsletters.
-
I love that mag too. Do you sign up for the newsletters online cookie?
I love the Tupperware spatula for scraping every last skerrick from the TMX bowl.

Yes MJ. Sign up on line. I think I did it on their website.

MJ while we are taking pictures of our kitchens can you please show me which spatula you have. thanks
-
I have a spatular I love for the TM , it is maxwell and williams brand and I think they call it a silicone spoon, it is slightly flexible and just the right size for the TM blades and it is much stiffer than all my silicone spatulars and quite thick if that makes sense here is the web address
http://www.maxwellandwilliams.com.au/mw/maxwell-williams-kitchenware-tools-maxi-spoon-silicone-je3211.asp
The picture doesn't show well but it is about 10mm thick at the bottom and slightly cupped, I use it pretty much every thime I use my TM ( actually I might buy a 2nd one! )

.............feel as though I could become a professional spatula reviewer, since owning thermie I have bought so many in search of the perfect spatula - tupperware has not measured up to my obvious rough use when using thermie. Will take a pic when I get home to indicate which one has the tick of approval :) :)
I am without ipad :( :( for the next week as DH is taking it to Sydney - so yes we obviously need 2 ipads in our household - preferrably an ipad2 ;) ;)
Assorted spatulas - black kitchen aide spatula was great until the handle snapped off while attempting to remove bread dough from thermie, evidence the tupperware spatula (black and white one) has not stood the test of johnro + thermie use, the red zyliss spatula (2nd from right) has fared a better while the the 2 on the left are chef'n brand and have been fabulous.

I use the maxwell williams spatula as well - hasn't 'chipped' when used with the blade in the bowl and not too bendy so you can be farily vigorous with scraping up the last drops of lemon butter or chocolate or....... Easy to wash as well.

We have one each, DH bought mine for my bday, once you have had one you realize it's benefits. So funny watching the Japnese walking around the Louvre taking photos with iPad 2. Fantastic it has a camera (I suppose) but very cumbersome!,

I bought what looks to be a good spatula for TMX from Lakeland will test and start leaning how to post Photos.
Robyn, the best tip I read on here with regard to removing bread dough was to release the blade onto thermomat ith the dough. It all comes out clean and easy to get blade out.
Looking forward to making bread again.

Here's my Tupperware Spatulas. The one on the top is for savoury food and the one at the bottom is for sweet foods! Both a bit worse for wear!!
Another one I have that I use in my Skinflint workshop is a scooped spatula that's also silicone. Excellent for getting the last little bit of soap batter out of the pot!

I never use a spatula to remove bread dough. I just use a a well floured hand.

I use a Lakeland spatula and it is incredible for getting things out, my bowl is virtually clean by the time I finished.
