That's funny as I received notification of one or two threads where I hadn't requested it!

hi amanda
i have had the same problem for quite some time, i dont get any email notifications for any topics i have posted on... cant work out why, all  my settings seem right. mm has contacted his tech guy but so far no solution

Okay not just me then, I keep checking about notifying but I have never received an email like I assumed I would. The only thing I see is bits in the "Show new replies to your posts (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?action=unreadreplies)", I wasn't sure if that was connected.

I don't k ow what happened but suddenly today I started receiving the notification emails from this forum. Till today they have simply never made it through (I run my own email server), and weren't even in a spam folder.

It's kinda shocking when you opening your email program and there are all these messages from here, you lot really are chatty :)

Same here Rob, I haven't been receiving them for quite some time but this morning they came rolling in by the dozens, some old but thankfully not all those I have missed out on since I stopped receiving them.  I had learnt to live with not getting them though.

I used to receive notification of PM's and also things that were reported so that you could get onto it immediately. They disappeared some time ago, but were back yesterday. I like them. ;)

I ended up with probably 300 back notifications coming through yesterday - bad timing with that spammer at work and that being my priority.  Only getting current ones now though thank goodness.

Go to your profile page click on notifications and emails, unsubscribe from Current Topic Notifications

No fundj,  I hadn't tries because i didn't know what was wrong.  I have followed your advice,  so I hope it is OK now.  Thank you very much for your help.  I told my DH it was all his fault. ;D ;D ;D ;D  Everything is always HIS fault. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
