Luckily I live in Germany. Even better, the Vorwerk service centre was literally 1.8km from my usual supermarket. I have a new bowl and base and I am cooking with "gas". I just made a batch of bagels to celebrate. Even though I have just eaten my yummy turkey risotto that I made last night. Just invited a pregnant friend over. She is always hungry at 8 months.....

That's great, no stopping you now with two healthy TM in the house. ;D

Good news Lee - how easy was that (why did it take you so long to take it there, I forget :-)))

Good question Judy. Initially, the lady who "sold" Thermie to me said that she would organize. Then I became a consultant and my group leader said she would deal with it. Then I couldn't get there and then and then and then... Finally she lent me a spare one and I had to take the entire Thermomix into the service centre, but it took only until last Wednesday to find that part out. Lucky I am patient and lovely because I really wanted to throw a huge tantrum. Thermie has only been 100% for two weeks out of the eight weeks I have owned him. And I have been unable to demonstrate at any parties with a faulty bowl.
Now this is all behind me and I am steaming salmon as we speak.

Great news, Lee. Good to see you are back on track again and "steaming" ahead. Any demos lined up yet?

I have two demos lined up in the next few weeks. Nothing over the holidays thank goodness. I am really just doing it for fun. I need to sell five in total to earn a second machine. Any takers?????
