We are all suffering jet lag, today work at 5am but the last few days 3 am, so we have been eating fresh warm bread for breakfast, yummm. So nice to have good bread again. I only wish i could send some over to ket them know what it really should taste like :)
Been cooking up a storm, but all from cook books as no internet accezz, i must store more recipes on evernote now it seems to be working properly.
I do have bread recipes saved so that was good. We have so much food again i must nit cook today!!! Oh no cant cope but dont want to load the freezer up.
Today i pick up my lamb, soooooo excited.
Missing the warmth of Hawaii BUT NOT THE FOOD
So much to read here, but not much time ATM, will get to it all over the next few days.

Hey Hally :)
Funny, I would have imagined the food to be exotic and scrummy........at least you have oodles of lamb to look forward too 8)
Did you bring back a coconut brassiere and grass skirt? :P
-
Good to have you back, wishing you a speedy recovery from your jet lag.
-
there is no place like home, its good to have you back hally

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes.
Yes Maddy we thought the same, maybe lots os tapas, Latino inspired food, cajun style and all sorts of different dishes, i was very excited about the food. You do not go to hawaii for the food, but everything else was fabulous.
Just wished i could have shopped more at Williams Sonoma, such an amazing shop. Next time.... We are saving for another trip.

Welcome back Hally. I can relate about the food in Hawaii. Even our hotel room had no coffee/tea making facilities and we were staying in a good Hotel. I went out and bought a cheap elec kettle and supplies just so we could have our cup of tea when we wanted to instead of having to go out and buy it every time.
I did love the breakfasts though. Eggs over easy with strips of bacon, served with pancakes and maple syrup on the side. I'd never had bacon and eggs with pancakes before, thoroughly enjoyed it. ;D

Some of Hally's snaps from Hawaii.

loved the photo's Hally, and good to see the Crown Prince. He looks like a natural surfer and what better place than Hawaii to "hang loose". Nice to see your face - you look like a very calm natured person.
-
Lovely to see you Hally, amazing hotel, close to the water and massive. Thanks for sharing

Thanks again everyone
JulieO we had a kettle with polystyrene cups. We bought tbags over there as the tea wasnt nice in te hotel, we tended to sray away from the big breakfast though ds had the " loco moco" once, we didntbthnk he woukd eat it all but he did.
loco moco is a bed of rice with a huge hamburger patty on top, covered in a RICH gravy ( we had gravy on side, he woukdnt eat the gravy) 2 eggs sunnyside up and some toast. It was huge, he ate it all.
All the food coes with sauces or gravys. The waiter was shocked we didnt want the gravy, it will be dry etc. Ds ate it all.
Where did you stay?
CP wasnt feeling calm yesterday or good natured!! Sick of hayfever, it gets me down. A little better today.
