Hi all,
I have decided to join up here for somewhere to chat to other thermomix lovers, I am a chef with a toddler and newborn baby and have wanted a thermomix for close to 2 years now, after having a demo on Friday with a awesome consultant I decided to become a consultant myself and hopefully if all goes well wont have to return to work when my maternity leave is up.
Today I signed up and have my training later this month, I am so excited about starting and can already tell I am going to love it. More importantly I can't wait for my thermomix to arrive so I can start cooking! With 2 young children cooking had been very difficult and I find the witching hour "5-6pm" the worst time to get things organized so have been resorting to quick,easy (boring) meals and just know the thermomix will make a huge difference to our menu.

Wish I had a TMX when my boys were babies. Mind you they are now old enough to use the TMX themmselves! My 10 year old is our TMX risotto expert :D

Hello Chefmaster, lovely to have you onboard. Your life will certainly change once you take possession of your TMX - the variety of meals will be endless. As a chef, you will probably have lots of recipes to share with us once you get going. Good luck with your training and subsequent selling of these wonderful machines.

Welcome chefmixer. You will never regret your purchase. You'll be able to set the TMX cooking your evening meal and attend to the children or have a drink with DH while it does all the work and calls you when it needs attention.

it is a hard thing I would imagine to carve a career out of cooking and also put a meal on the table, so I hope your TM willl be a big help to you

Welcome to the forum. You will love it here. As you are a chef I am sure you will have many wonderful recipes to share with us all. I have a friend that dreads the witching hour and I have told her on numerous occasions how a Thermomix would save her life. Please post lots and lots so I can encourage her to take the plunge

You're seriously gonna LOVE :-* your thermomix - especially at the dreaded witching hour!! I have 3 children - aged 5yrs, 2yrs & 9mths, and can say from experience now that it definately helps to be able to set TM going, tend to kids, be there for DH when he gets home after a long day at work, have the table set, relaxing in the knowledge that TM will call me when dinner is ready!!! Definately a worthwhile investment!
I too am looking forward to seeing your recipes and hearing your ideas, & this forum is GREAT too!!
