Hello all,
My themomix arrives on Sunday and I am having a thermo party. I would love to buy some wholefoods for when it arrives. My question is what are your staple ingredients? I would love to know so I can start straight away. I wil be buying a recipe book at the party on Sunday so I cannot get a list happening.
Thank you :)

Yes, Definately cream. We have never used so much as I do now that I am making our own icecream.
Also Olive Oil "EVOO"
Unsalted Butter

Yup, lots of EVOO.
As to the butter, thats part of what the cream is for ;) (well it is now I've discovered making it myself)

but then can you make butter from milk?

We have a fantastic Health Store near where we live that stocks organic pasturised only milk, cream and butter at good prices so I can't find a reason to make butter. I think it is probably cheaper to buy it ready made for me. There are no additives, just cream, or cream and salt.

They have rapadura sugar in bulk bins as well as every type of flour imaginable, and if they don't have what you want in stock will try to source an organic supplier and get it.
Their organic fruit and veg are wonderful. Not the spotty sad stuff that a lot of 'organic shops' try to sell.

Get in some nice fresh veggies for making soup and also some lemons for lemonade. There is a recipe for this in the book that comes with the TMX and it is SO addictive. Also if you like making bread, don't forget some yeast. Hope you have a fun party:-)
