Title: Buying another thermie!! (and dream job excitement)

I am VERY excited, I am about to embark on my own business! My kids school leases out their canteen privately so I put a tender in for it and I GOT IT!! So thrilled, it's my dream job, seriously lol, cooking and baking all day and being there for my kids even more than if I was staying at home! lol, and I get to take my little one with me!!! Anyway on Monday I am purchasing a tmx for the canteen, no way can I do it without it! Just wanted to share, I cannot wait to share the thermie love and goodness with my kids school community!!

I have a friend who does the same but she is frustrated that her school community is declared a nutfree zone.

Oh Coops, that's absolutely wonderful.  What a thought - being in a position to help others realise the benefits and taste of good, nutritional food.  What a buzz!!  Good luck with the job.

It's going great thanks ! Have been getting really favourable feedback and I could not do what I do without thermalina as I am on my own in there 3 days a week. Hits with the kids are muffins and thermie custard and I do a hot meal special each week (this week it will be honey mustard chicken from this forum, the kids and teachers also go nuts for quirky jos fried rice and the creamy pasta from the edc) I also do a special meal for the teachers each Wed. I make my own sausage rolls which are very popular too. Oh and they love the edc pikelets!

its good to hear that the kids and teachers are loving the healthy food you are making
our canteen at school is a healthy one too so l dont mind  buying lunch for my son there
it sounds like you are having lots of fun .
