Title: www.superkitchenmachine.com
Post by: cookie1 on December 19, 2011, 02:50:36 am
This is Helene's blog and I love it. A couple of things that immediately come to mind that I have made and loved are her ricotta cheese (http://www.superkitchenmachine.com/2011/12574/make-ricotta-thermomix-recipe.html) and her adaption of 5 seed bread (http://www.superkitchenmachine.com/2009/3000/dark-thermomix-seed-bread-recipe.html). I'll add to it as I remember.
Sorry with the links, sometimes I have big problems, other times it's fine.

Her paneer (http://www.superkitchenmachine.com/2011/11946/paneer-cheese-recipe-thermomix.html) is lovely too.

Helene’s blog is a wonder of the modern world! She is a marvel and does it all for the love of it! She needs our support in whatever way, be it comments (which keep us bloggers going emotionally) or through buying things she recommends throughout her site. She does have some limited income through these links, and I hope she doesnt mind me saying this, she needs our support!

She is the first port of call for all people surfing the net for info re the Thermomix that does not come from Vorwerk themselves…unbiased, straight talking and passionate, her info is always up to date, and mostly beats the traditional channels for finding stuff out about Thermomix. And then there are her recipes…amazing…when does she find the time for those I wonder?

Anyhoo, rant over…go check her out!
xx

Count me among the fans of Helene.

She sent me the info about the Canadian distributor the same day I inquired, then after I got my TMX, she converted my favorite Christmas cake, the fruited cocoa cake that has been my family standard for a very long time.

Helene's blog is a great resource for all those passionate about Thermomix. I do try to support her ever chance I get even to buying a 99 cent Kindle Book through her site.

If ever she decided to stop blogging I would be devastated. There is nothing she doesn't know about thermomix and what  is going on with it any where in the world. I don't know how she keeps up with it all.

Vorwerk should pay her to keep the blog going. I would imagine Helene would know just about everyone who has one or wants one. Now there is a thought for Vorwerk.

Hope she doesn't mind my saying so either Tenina and  by the by your blog is wonderful too.

I have to agree with you all, she is a wonderful, devoted TMX owner and her blog seems to have taken over her life just as this forum has taken over mine.  Gretchen & I were amongst the first 3 people to ever win one of her prizes - what a thrill that was aye Gretch and she continues to have these giveaways, much to the delight of all her followers.

Oh yes Judy I remember the salmon alright. I don't know how she does it all. Heaven help us if she ever gets a "real" job.

Helenes was one of the first blogs I came across when I got thermie and love it..I think its amazing that somebody who has no direct affiliation with Vorwerk spends so much time promoting the Thermomix and finding out the latest news, recipes, sights etc etc...I too hope she never stops blogging...imo she is the only person who has such an array of thermomix help, info and recipes and always seems to be on the ball with whats up and coming...there are many great blogs out there but Helene isnt a consultant (so not blogging to help in sales and info), no business or personal project to promote and alot more than keeping track of what she is cooking like so many...so just in it to help out and spreading the word of all things Thermomix.....definately all for supporting in any way I can...just a pity its not accessible to more people ie other languages...now theres a project lol!

Thanks Helene for all that you do...love your blog  ;D ;D

Wow oh wow  :-[ :o :-[ -- Thanks to cookie1 for liking my blog on this forum! I feel like I've won the jackpot and just look :o at all these fabulous people who are cheering me on! (Great to see you all again! Thanks to all and I'm so glad Frozzie discovered the translator in the top right corner of the blog.

I wish I could spend more time in this super forum but reality is that it's very hard to keep up with all the blogging, never mind the COOKING that I'd like to do, plus there's a family that I don't mention much cuz I am used to be a private person and oh yes, a tiny little 'real' job on the side. (That's very tiny and way off on the side though) Thanks for your support, it does mean a lot and I hope you'll keep enjoying SuperKitchenMachine in the new year. There are surprises in store for sure!

Gotta rush away now, there are people here to feed!

 :-*

ps - I think this is the first time I've ever been the "ants pants". Where I live the ants go nude, but still, I love this expression... must be like "the bee's knees" ?

Thank YOU dear achookwoman for this! I read it a few days ago in the midst of Christmas festivities and was not able to respond then, but oh my, these words of yours were the BEST gift I received all year. I am sincerely touched and can only hope to continue serving the quality of fare you have come to expect. It's a bit of a balancing act to be present and diplomatic and maintain a healthy perspective while crazed with passion over a kitchen machine, but I'll keep working on it. :-[

Johnro: I in turn am grateful that this forum was one of my initial introductions to the world of Thermomix because this forum really sets the tone for 'respect', 'community' and 'fun' so prevalent wherever Thermomix resides.

Dear MM to you I say: :-*

Cheers friends, and thanks again!
- H

ps  - Looking forward to some new fun in 2012  ;)

:-* :-* thank you Helene, it is one of the best blogs ever for thermomix.
i look at

Superkitchenmachine
and
Jo's   quirkycooking

i have just recommended those to a friend of mine, and this forum, as her thermomix is only 2 months old.
