I was wondering if anybody had any favourite Thermomix meals that are good for feeding lots of people eg 5 adults and 6 children.
We are only a small family and making loads of food isn't my strong point usually but we are joining up with another family for holidays. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Perhaps you can make and put in the thermoserver and then add pasta to or rice. eg curry, spag bog etc.

lasagna is good too
you can make it in the throw away foil tray from the super market
and it can be easy done early and frozen if need be
just thaw and heat in oven

Beef strog (http://fulllittletummies.blogspot.com/2010/06/filling-tummies-with-beef-stroganoff.html) (perhaps extra meat, mushrooms and a little extra liquid) with a big pot of pasta. Pizza is great to bulk out main meals too.

The veggie pasta dish in the vegetarian book feeds heaps!

Lentil bolognaise (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4286.0) is another one.

Thankyou! Those ideas are great. JD, that lentil bolognaise from Jo looks wonderful and hearty.
Is there anywhere on the forum where the pasta dish from the Vegetarian book is?

Tarosuma, I found a copy of this recipe here (http://www.elizabethshopping.com.au/Assets/Files/552ddbf7-a9f3-4122-8f08-cdd70aafe41a.pdf). It is written slightly different to the recipe in my book (2009 edition) and maybe the recipe was updated in later editions. My version uses feta not parmesan.

Any type of curry is an easy one. I usually make the curry sauce in the Thermomix and then make various curries using the same sauce. Chicken, prawn or vegetable Korma are a favourite. All it takes once the sauce is done to put it in the saucepan and add the other ingredients. For chicken or seafood. I brown the meat and then add the sauce and simmer for 20minutes before serving. For vegetables I just add them to the sauce and simmer again. Serve with rice, and small containers of yogurt, sultanas, cucumber, banana and homemade naan (double the TM recipe and only takes minutes in the hot oven). This has worked well with 8 adults and 8 children for me before.
