What :o, I thought I had just caught up on all the topics I have missed since being absent for a few weeks. What a fool I am,
I clicked on the " Click here to read all unread topics", What the hell I still have more than 7 pages to read through.
You lot talk to much lol.

It's a bit of a shock when you press that button Dede. :D :D

Just when you think you are finished, no, we don't let you off that easily Mandi ;D
-
I can see that now Judy. Oh well I don't need to sleep anyway lol.
-
Imagine how many pages I had when I returned to the forum after 6 months!
-
Oh my, 6 months. I don't think you will ever catch up after so long away. Just a few weeks for me has given me so much reading to do.
-
lol I have 127 pages and I clicked mark all as read not that long ago!!!! Don't think I will catch up somehow :-))
-
Oh well Faffa, I'm not that bad after all. Thank goodness for that.

It's amazing how much the forum has grown in the past year - I have found that, instead of coming on once a day, I have to check it 3 - 4 times a day otherwise it is too much to tackle at once. Sadly, I also find that I can't read everything any more, I just haven't got the time - I always feel that I am then missing a lot but it can't be helped.

I know what you mean Cuilidh. I used to read all the posts in the afternoon after work before I started cooking dinner. Now I am on here morning and night to read them. I read all my posts on the treadmill as it helps to make the time go faster. If I have any left after that it's usually only another ten minutes or so. Mind you I can't post on the treadmill so I save all my posting for once I've finished.

I don't know how you can even read on a treadmill Twitterpated - are you walking or running? Of course we all know Hally posts whilst on her treadmill LOL. Multi tasking, love it.

I don't actually use the unread posts button. I scroll down and look at the dates of the posts and the 'new' signs and go from there.

Ok I'm off the treadmill now so I can reply. My treadmill has a small ledge above the instrument panel where I can safely lean the mini laptop that I have. My DH also built a small shelf that balances on the handles so I can use the mouse. No problems reading but the keyboard is too far away for me to type but not sure I really want to anyway. I've never had a problem reading on there and sometimes take a book as well. No probs reading in the car either which seems to be something you either can or can't do. BTW JD I don't run - ever! It's just something I can't do. I have the setting at uphill and walk really briskly - just slower than a jog.
-
Sounds like my kind of treadmill Twitterpated ;D I don't run anywhere either unless one of the grandchildren gets away from me and I need to catch up - then it is more like a slow jog rather than a sprint.

Ok I can really relate to this.... I have been offline for over 2 weeks as my computer crashed and died.... :'(but I now have a lovely new laptop and today is the first day of checking in on my forums..... WOW.... thats all I have to say.... ;) I'm off to spend the remainder of my day catching up on everything... ;)

Lol Mary Jane , you might need longer than a day to catch up. I'm still finding posts that I have yet to read.
