Title: iPad and Tapatalk - how do you post a new topic?

I'm finding it a little hard to navigate tapatalk. I'm only getting unread topics, even though I've changed my settings. I'd like to see all topics, not just the new ones.

Also, how do you post a new topic? I can't for the life of me see an option for this. ???

I have tapatalk and I think if you look down the bottom of the iPad you will see "forum" touch that and it brings up all the topics. I don't know how to post a new topic but I will go and investigate and let you know if I find anything out. Not much help, sorry:(.

Just found out how to start a new topic. On the top right hand side of the page you will see a semi circle with an arrow on it, like the refresh icon. Tap that and it brings up several options, one being "start a new topic". Hope that helps :).,

Hmm, on the right at the top, I only have a button that looks like a back button. When I click it, I have the options: 'Refresh', 'Subscribe' and 'More'. 'More' reveals 'Share' and 'Open in Safari'.

If I click Forum, it closes the App!

Have no idea at present Megan as I have only replied to ongoing topics so will have a play over the next few days!!!!  :)  :)

I cant even do a search or see the whole list of topics???

For thr moment i can only see new topics, replies to posted topics , how to quote and reply is all i can do lol

Kim I think any forum of which you are a member can be accessed using tapatalk - but then again I am only blagging  :D  :D as this is the only forum where I am active!!!!!

You cannot access any forum with tap taptalk , only those that are taptalk  friendly. Obviously our Master Moderator is pretty  tech savvy.

Kissmypixel is correct . If you cannot find all the options up on the right hand  corner then perhaps you have not tapped the forum button along the bottom. Just keep opening and shutting and you are sure to find it.

The iPad is endlessly entertaining. I have no problems now with seeing the forum normally in Safari though I do miss the 5 photos of Meganjane Or cookie1  in my replys!

If you go to the bottom of the page where it says forum then click on all topics you can go to what ever topic you want like chit chat, from there you can click on the arrow thing at the top right hand side and the option to start a new topic will appear in the drop down menu.

I must have a setting incorrect, every time I open tapatalk there are no new posts. I've never had a problem viewing the forum via safari so think I may just stick to that.

Maybe we will make tapatalk crash with all our activity on this forum lol. I just went into tapatalk and it won't load. So I am using safari at the moment.  :D

Hi, being memory challenged 😉 I'm going to have to answer your questions one at a time so that I can a) see what the question is and b) look how to do it!

To see all posts rather than new posts, use your back tab (top left corner) until you're in your opening screen if you werent already there.

Look at the bottom of your screen.  You should see icons for 'latest' 'forum' 'favourites' etc.  click on forum.  This usually takes you to the forum home screen topics.  If not, look for a back tab at the top left of your screen and click it until you reach the home screen.  Now you can navigate just. You would normally and see all of the postings.

You need to have entered the forum this way (not via latest posts view) to make a new posting. I'm off to have a little look how to remember exactly how to do it...

Okey dokey.  It's just a matter of being in the section you want, eg chat, via the forum tab, not the latest posts tab, and then click on the box with an arrow at the top right of your screen.  One of the options is to start a new thread.

I've tried all that Caroline, but as soon as I click the forum button at the bottom, the app closes. I'll have to see if there's a help section for the app.

MJ have you tried completely turning off your ipad and restarting? Or uninstalling tapatalk and then reinstalling. I have that problem with words with friends. Hope you can get  it sorted out.
