Crio Bru Australia ordered 100 of my Chocolate Kiss Lip Balms from me to use at the launch of Tenina's new book ( I think!). So excited, I was busy making lip balms and getting labels etc.
Posted them on February 1st and they haven't received them. :-\
I just can't believe my luck. This would have been fantastic exposure for me, now they don't have the lip balms for their welcome packages and I don't get the advertising. I've offered to send them another 100 for free, so I'll at least get the exposure, but at a huge financial loss. Australia Post, I HATE YOU!! >:(
-
Oh MJ that's not bad luck but negligence by Australian Post. Can you make a claim against them to recoup the financial loss? You must be so mad and angry.
-
What a bummer MJ, a great opportunity missed through no fault of your own. :'(
-
Gee that would be so disappointing MJ. Hope they turn up tomorrow for you.
-
Not likely DD, they should have been there last week. I didn't send them Registered Post, so no recompense. :-\
-
😥 I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. All the work you put into them would be so disappointing.
-

MJ, I sent a parcel to England last Sept. And it didn't arrive. Not Registered. Australian Post said they could track it within Australia but not after that. If it isn't returned to me by 6 months from the date it was sent, they would consider compensation. Next time I will use DHL.
-
I feel for you MJ. I wonder where it went 😒
-
Hmm I am waiting for a parcel from the USA (a very expensive watch for my sons 21st - think 4 digits!!) Ordered and posted 3 weeks ago, the company can track it to Aus but there is nothing after that and Aussie Post don't want to know about it - YET ... cause I ain't finished with them YET.
MJ my heart breaks for you as I know the work you put into your products :'( :'(
-
Oh mj thats horrible and all that missed exposure.. What is it with 2012... Seems so much bad luck and horrible news... Feel for you after all the hard work and out of pocket... Grrrr
-
So disappointing for you. Seems very unfair, I wonder where they are? I hate anything coming to my residence as Australia Post often puts other peoples mail in my letter box and I have seen streets where mail is lying on the road thanks to the locals.
-
That stinks MJ!.....what a shame they weren't registered :( Hopefully they will magically re-appear.
I hate Australia post too >:( >:( especially the postie contracted to deliver to our area! Have made sooooo many complaints....I am now cancelling my mail and collect it from the local shop everyday >:( shouldn't have to do that, but he's so unreliable!
Good luck Faffa.....I hope it turns up for you!
I had a specialty order of John Deere drawer knobs for my sons tall boys, shipped from U.S......they sent them twice, and both packages vanished in thin air! >:( >:( >:(
-
MJ I feel for you. I also HATE Australia post. For us they have lost DD's Masters's degree (can't be found even though it was registered) a book from Amazon that wieghed about 2kg and was worth over $550, plus many more we know about and who knows what we don't know about. They really don't care. They say we will pass on your complaint but it is not the postie (most of the time) it's their systems.
MJ I do hope a miracle happens and they arrive. Perhaps today.
-
WoW cookie :o ......makes you wonder, doesn't it!
Well I remember a little while ago, Melbourne had a big auction of all items that weren't collected, or deliverable....wonder if any of our missing stuff ended up there ???
I know I have received other peoples packages, which i personally re-deliver.....but how many people would open and keep them?
A few years ago, a local postie around here was charged with possessing a shed full of mail and parcels.....maybe my drawer knobs ended up there :-\
They say we will pass on your complaint but it is not the postie (most of the time) it's their systems.
Here, it's the postie!.....my neighbour cancelled all her mail deliveries before Christmas (because of his constant mistakes), and last week my neighbour happened to check her letterbox out of curiosity.....and sure enough, my mail sitting in her box.....2 party invites (1 was for in 2 days time, 1 had already been past), a cheque and bills >:(
-
I don't know if you ever saw that tv report where the postie would put a bag of mail behind bushes while he delivered another bag?
-
I send my grand children cards & presents for birthdays etc and always send them registered mail. Even that doesn't guarantee their delivery. Twice now I have had to complain and after many phone calls etc one letter finally turned up 3 weeks later and the parcel was just left sitting on top of the letterbox a fortnight after I posted it. I complained and was told "oh that shouldn't happen". I could have driven there and back and delivered them quicker than Aust Post. Not a happy customer that's for sure.
-
Oh MJ that is just rotten hun. I think AustPost needs some competition. That will give them a shake up.

That is very sad news MeganJane, but I bet it will work out okay in the end! Do keep us posted here please.. ("posted?" :D) I for one have full confidence in the abilities of the folks at Crio Bru :-* (what a nice concept to make presentaation gifts of your product! Have you made a Crio-flavoured version... or maybe that's next? ;) ) -- I just know you will the reward you deserve... somehow, they will find a way to get you lots of exposure.
I have to say that as someone who is in the midst of shipping hundreds of wee parcels over to Australia, the postal horror stories described in this thread make me extremely nervous. I am shaking in my boots! I know some people have received kitchen kits already... much faster than expected. I was surprised to see eastern Australia get such speedy delivery and then allowed myself to assume the rest of the country would quickly follow suit. (Wishful thinking?) Now I'm trembling. I can not bear the thought of some poor Thermomix fan not getting delivery because their spatulas have been tucked in a bag behind a bush somewhere. :o Noooooooooo!!! :-\ :( :'(
I'm going to be losing sleep until I hear some good news. :(
h.
:'(

I'm sure that happens here. DD subscribes to quite a lot of professional stuff and quite a bit of it disappears.
-
Great news! They were sitting at the Post Offfice!!! I asked them to go and check and sure enough, they've been sitting there for over a week. Why didnt they put a card in their mail box to let the know they had a parcel? The answer to this and thousands of other questions may never be known...
I feel for all of you with similar stories and have my fingers crossed for you Helene.
Thanks all for your kind thoughts and messages😘
I have a huge smile on my face after checking my email while here at Dome in Albany. Everyone is wondering what I'm thinking😉
-
Yayyyy ... (See -- whad I tellya? ;))
-
What great news. Hope this is the start of many orders to come.
-
Great news mj... 😃
-
So happy for you MJ but isn't it too late for Tenina's book launch?
Hopefully your watch will arrive soon Kathryn.
-
I hope so too JD, just sent of another round of emails and phone calls today - I am sorry but over a grands worth of watch is just not going to be sitting in limbo waiting to be forgotten about!!! Thought I would have been safe with tracking - obviously not :-)) :-))
MJ so pleased yours has turned up :)
-
Good news MJ, I'm so glad they turned up.
-
Good news MJ :)
-
Wonderful news MJ.
-
Great news MJ ;D
-
Kathryn, I do hope your parcel turns up. :-\
-
MJ you will be over the moon to know that we received one of your lip balms in our little gift bag at Tenina's class tonight ;D ;D
-
Have only just caught up on this thread - so pleases that your lip balms were tracked down MJ - Kathryn I feel for you!!! To date I have never had a problem with anything arriving from within Australia or OS - could that be because we live on the right side of the country - :D :D
-
Robyn, you're up and about early (or perhaps late!). I'm afraid we're just as likely to suffer as the rest of the country with Australia Post's inefficiency - I'm still waiting on a parcel posted by my sister in Hervey Bay which she sent before Xmas!
-
Wow that is excellent MJ, I am so glad to hear that they are not lost forever and all your hard work wasn't wasted. That would of been a huge relief for you.
-
I have obviously been lucky so far then Marina!!! ;)
-
MJ I just wanted to say a big "thank you" for the lovely chocolate lip balm. I keep it by my bed and slather a nice choccy layer on last thing before I go to bed, and first thing when I wake up. Love it! :-*
-
Oh, I'm so glad that you like it CP! :)
-
Oh good news after all! :)
Maddy, he was from here, he still trades on our local buy, swap, sell sites... he is watched very closely, >:(
