Title: The Thermomix challenge.
Post by: mdfisher on April 21, 2012, 01:34:36 am
I have had my thermomix for a month now and love reading all the recipes and the forum threads. This is the first forum? I have joined so not really sure what I am doing.  I would like to share and I am sure you will all agree, I totally love my thermomix. The challenge for me is working out what wonderful recipes I choose to make each day. Thank you to all who put these great recipes out there for us all to share, and I hope I get creative enough  ( capable enough) to put some of my own recipes out there. I am a mother, nana who loves golf, fitness but most of all my family and friends.

Welcome to the forum mdfisher, yes we all have trouble choosing which recipes to try as there are so many out there.
Eventually you will get comfortable to convert your own recipes, and try lots of new things :)

Hi mdfisher, welcome to the forum.  I had trouble finding recipes for the thermomix when I got mine a few years ago but now there are recipes wherever you look so the problem now is which one to do.  Have you checked out CP's favourite list  (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6470.0) of recipes on our forum - some lovely recipes to try there. Here's (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=48.0) the list of books available for the Thermomix - just click on a book and it will take you to reviews of recipes tried.

Sorry, forgot to say I live in beautiful Robe in South Australia. We live export lobster, and have a fish retail shop. Have already tried steam fish and the beautiful mussels recipe in the book but not tried any cooking with lobster yet.  Looking forward to it. I made the broccoli and cheese soup the other night and we loved it. Look forward to sharing my thermomix experiences with all. Marg
