Title: Review Chicken Kebab Pge 42 Best of Recipe Communities
Post by: judydawn on April 21, 2012, 05:08:29 am
This Spanish recipe is delicious.  I only used 1 chicken fillet for the 2 of us and although the photo of this recipe in the book is served in very thick pita bread halves, ours here are very thin in comparison and impossible to pick up and eat without the filling falling out the bottom.  I would therefore just use this recipe as a filling for a wrap or taco.  So easy to prepare, you just need to marinate the chicken the day before.  I rarely give scores but this is a definite 5/5 from us.

Looks good JD. You could put it on an open jacket potato too with a good dollop of sour cream or cream cheese.

We had these for dinner tonight. I served them up in warmed wraps. I also served up some wdges. I didnt know  what to do,  Dh & Ds always want pots, rice or pasta, JD set me straight its finger food, so wedges were perfect :)

Absolutely delicious  a fantastic family meal.

5/5 from us.

DS has requested it again.

We had these for dinner tonight and it was an easy, tasty meal.

We ended up having to use tortilla's for the wrap as this was all we had on hand.
I had tried to make flat breads  (from the recipe from the link Maddy's posted) but it was a complete disaster  :(
I'm not sure what I did to this, but I ended up with one big fat sticky mess.
