Title: Yeasted Dutch doughnuts
Post by: Bonsai on April 25, 2012, 07:28:22 am
Made these today from Tenina's website - really yum. The dough didn't rise enormously but the puffed up in the oil and were very light. I did a half recipe with 1 tsp dried yeast instead of fresh yeast, cut the dough with the MC and made 23. The whole recipe would feed a crowd. (http://img.tapatalk.com/7ca9bbd7-9982-5d6a.jpg)

They are very nice and not too sweet. Like all doughnuts they're best fresh and I don't think the leftovers will be too flash tomorrow (maybe heat them up?) . Worth doing and the full recipe would feed a lot of people. I have a deep frier which certainly made things easier.
