Seeking the widsom of the wider thermomix community.
I have two bowl and blades sets. One of my sets of blades is tarnished. They have turned a dark grey colour. I've scrubed with bicard, I've scrubed with salt and vinegar, I've steam cleaned, I've boiled vinegar but nothing seems to make a difference. It is just the blades that are tarnished, not the piece underneath.
Any ideas? I mean they still work just fine, but they don't look great. It's making me sad
I tried the dishwasher detergent recipe and I think it is great. I did have a little bit of lemony residue left in the powder dispenser (I've used it twice now and this happened both time) but it didn't effect the dishes inside which were all clean. Smelled nice too
I've made a batch with vinegar instead of the rinse aid (I use vinegar instead of rinse aid in the dishwasher) but haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know how that one goes.
