I know I've made this before, but can anyone remind me how many batches I should make for 36 (piped) cupcakes? I've hit a mental blank (I'm at that stage of party prep...) thanks

My one year old loves these, although they do lose some of the nice crispy coating when you turn them. Very easy quick high protein lunch.

I made this for my 1 year old but added some garlic, a little bit of fish sauce and fresh coriander. I must have substituted something for the butter (either nuttelex or oil) as he can't have dairy. I didn't puree it and served it over rice. He really enjoyed it the first time and also the leftovers from the freezer (I reheated gently on the stove).

I made these with carrot, sweet potato and fresh basil. I couldn't taste them as I can't have cheese. He seemed to like them but preferred the larger ones I cooked in a silicon muffin tin. I found the mix made far more than the recipe said - I made 24 minis plus 6 or so full size muffins. I cooked the minis for about 15 minutes.

I have a combination of Tupperware and sistema. I don't think decor seal well. I've been told that Kmart have ones similar to Tupperware which have great seals and are obviously much cheaper. I need a few more so I will give them a go.

My little one enjoyed this. He kept grabbing the spoon off me and shoving it into his mouth, I must have been a bit slow for him! I used pumpkin instead of sweet potato because that's what I had.

Not much of a cooking day today. I did make pikelets (dairy free due to littlest's cows milk protein intolerance - and this way I can have some too - he's breastfed). I used the EDC recipe but with coconut milk instead of milk and nuttelex instead of butter. 3 year old didn't seem to notice they were any different from usual.

CHRISTMAS / Re: Fruit Mince Pies - With photo« on: December 25, 2013, 10:44:58 pm »Wow Maddy, they look spectacular! Love the stand too. Oh no please don't - I found the pastry very forgiving as long as I only did small bits at a time and kept it in the fridge. I want to be able to find the recipe again next year 10

What dreadful luck Judy. Wise of you to take precautions and I hope Fletcher is better soon and nobody else gets it,

Is it the weather maybe, Wonder? I've made 60 of thee pies in the last few days and I found the pastry pretty forgiving but I floured well and had the air conditioning going.

These were very easy and I'm told very yummy. I made a heap of them.
These are the last lot, hence the tiny stars as I was running low in pastry. 13
