This is a really old recipe from my Nana Brown. I was recently given her handwritten copy and I thought it should be converted and enjoyed with my forum friends
Ingredients:
80g carrot, roughly chopped rind of 1 lemon 93g butter, room temp 65g raw sugar 1 egg 2 ripe bananas (over ripe is better) 235g SR flour pinch salt 55g milk
Preheat fan forced oven to 170 degrees Celsius (moderate) and line a small loaf tin 20 x 10cm
Method:
1. Add carrot to jug 10 Secs | Speed 10 Set carrot aside 2. Add lemon rind to jug 10 Secs | Speed 7 3. Add butter & sugar to jug 3 Min's | Speed 3 scraping down when necessary 4. Mash the banana in a separate bowl, and add to jug with egg 10 Secs | Speed 3 5. Add flour, salt, carrot & milk 20 Secs | Speed 3 . Spread evenly into loaf tin. 6. Put in oven 45 – 50 minutes 7. When cool, top with lemon icing
Enjoy!

I've enjoyed seeing all the pressies as they've been opened. SS's have done very well this year and have come up with some very interesting and thoughtful gifts. Thank you cookie for organising again x

You never guess what??? Another pressie arrived from my SS - a gift voucher for T2 and another beautiful handmade card with a poem! I love tea and I'm amazed that SS knew that. You are very clever and very crafty SS - thank you very much x
(I'll put a pic up soon)

thats bit annoying that more mixture was made than required. I have so many things hanging around in my fridge I don't like to have to be inventive and come up with more uses if I've followed the recipe

When I tried the chip recipe it didn't work, and so I've washed the rice since and used the chip and its been fine.
