Thanks ladies. I actually made this recipe tonight but wasn't aware this was the recipe you were initially talking about Judy. I cut back on the sugar and still I found it too sweet for my tastes and also cooked it longer as the rice still wasn't cooked through, but otherwise it was delicious. It also made an awful lot and as there are only two of us empty nesters here now we are going to be eating it for weeks! I will also fix my EDC cookbook recipe. Thanks again.
