Thanks you both for the welcome and replies.  I did email my consultant who emailed the service guy who told me the error 24 meant not enough power to the machine.  Hubby couldn't understand as he knew we had the correct transformer.  Upon rechecking I noticed the voltage setting was on the wrong setting!  Poor guy felt a bit silly as he's an engineer!  .  So problem solved, am up and running and made several things already, just love my Thermie!
