Amanda - were you told that AMEX will be sending you a bill of $50? The consultant should have explained that there is a $50 charge that is added to your total if you use AMEX. AMEX generally has higher fees for companies and that's why a lot of places don't accept it or put a fee if you want to use it. It's something you agree to when you sign the order form.

The thermomix is trackable through Australia Post but even with trackable items if they are missing in between it's a matter of figuring out where they are and that requires Australia Post to investigate. I've done a lot of online selling over the years and it can be a huge headache dealing with them too.

Essie: At least with the bowls, they didn't charge people 6 months ago thankfully. They are only charging them now upon getting them delivered. I have a couple of customers with some on the way.

For those wondering I'm still waiting for an order for a customer from the 11th of Sept (no finance paid up front in full etc). I really hope that is not going to be a 6-8 week wait but will find out next week when the 20 days is up.

I got an email saying that they were getting towards the 11th of september orders being sent out now.

Naturalmamma - you may struggle to get it by then as it would be 17 business days since your payment was done. But hopefully they start processing quicker and get them out and you get it in time for your holiday
