I repotted half of my outdoor pots. It was really hard work and I am completely exhausted. I am sure my plants will love me for it though. ;-)
Oh - I hope its OK that I join the conversation. 3
Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Re: A Quirky Cooking by Jo Whitton« on: October 25, 2014, 12:49:47 pm »
I just got this book this week. I am not a very good cook in the first place (I love the paint-by-numbers aspect of the Thermomix) and to be honest the book completely daunts me. I don't know a lot of the ingredients at all, but, I am eager to try to break out of my boring scene a little and try some recipies as soon as my TM5 arrives.

Hi Astarra. I cook for hubby and two kids (our daughter turns 9 next month and our son turns three next month). Both kids are fussy eaters (aka spoilt).

Thanks everyone. I ordered it last night! I am not sure I am going to be able to stand the 8 week wait! On the bright side, I will get it before Christmas.

Introduce Yourself / Newbie in the house from Perth« on: October 19, 2014, 07:59:49 am »
Hey All. So great to join this awesome forum! I am just about to order my first Thermomix. I went to a TM party two years ago and I fell in love with the TM, but, I have an unfortunate history of buying appliances that I "can't live without" and they end up collecting dust. It was because of this that hubby was not keen (especially considering the price tag). So, I did some research and we agreed that I would buy myself a Bellini (Target TM semi-copy) and if it ended up being something that I actually used, we could talk about upgrading. Two years later and my Bellini has had a lot of use. It is starting to malfunction a bit so it is time to upgrade! :-) I cannot wait to have a TM sitting on my counter!
