Turned a recipe around and made Greek prawn sanganaki into a risotto , no feta . It was filling and delicious! We normally add pasta but I thought this may work .

Cookie how nice to get away and camp . DH helped plant the crop . I may have found two sets of twin lambs .

Out for dinner , tender chicken Brest with roasted vegetables . Also pork medallions with seedy mustard sauce .

Chookie fresh chestnuts- yum saw a bakery that had used them in a crème in a pastry . Made chicken coconut lemon soup . Quirky Jo recipe. Hopefully DH will enjoy this for lunch . DH has been working long days , we may as well live in another time zone ! Lunch seems to be 2-3 then dinner 8-9 . I end up have meals earlier . But the awake late !

Barramundi with roasted vegetables in a seedy mustard marinade meant for chicken . It was delicious and lemony as well . Baked potato. Pawpaw and cut up apple for dessert. Trying to eat more fruit .

Sent on errands ! Canola to be inoculated with bug chemical ! Yes the earwigs are eating it ! Then off to pick up another farm supply! Amazing timing to get it to our spraying contractor as he was loading up. The emergency siren went off ! We found out later a rollover of a small farm vehicle! They are ok but not great to happen. What an amazing afternoon weather wise . DD is ok feeling better but still not 100 .

My knees are like jelly at the moment so i best keep up with my caltrate tablets I think . Although blood specialist said my calcium was good .I’m feeling very flat , think it might be the weather as well .
DD had an iron infusion the other day and now is rather reacting to it , flu like symptoms and headaches. Not good at all . DH crop is being eaten- he is not happy ! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day .

Pesto creamy chicken, had some homemade pesto in the fridge . Sliced zucchini longways and a bit of broccolini.

I’ve made a very tasty leek and potato soup and now pumpkin soup ! DH has appreciated it out on the tractor. Also Uber eats Katie for DH yesterday lunch ! Lucky I just made the pumpkin soup and grabbed a roll at the bakery ! Filled a container with leftover chicken and salad things and cranberry sauce! Quickly made it up and gave to him as he passed in the paddock! Now the canola is in before the rain .

We too have been having fresh fish once a week , so good . Tonight simple loin chop with baked sweet potato and vegetables. With home made apple and pear chutney.

Gosh I didn’t even have the flu injection last year ! This year I might get the flu injection and maybe the RSV .. no Covid injection for me. Life has been busy . DS back at uni and in the thick of huge assignments . DD is working hard everyday . DS had a great 21st and they were all good . Rather a lot of young men filled the shearing shed ! DS had gone on trips to collect wine barrels stools . Fairy lights . It looked great ! Boys decoration - all the toys header tractors the he got when DH received a tractor ! It was great . The food was delicious and talked about . The cake DD brought home was devoured . Most camped the night ! Such good young people , they came in a cleaned up in the morning like magic . We found beer cans a glasses in very odd places for a week !
Now we are planting the crop , slow and steady .
