Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / recommendations for step up transformer

A friend in Europe is selling me their old Thermomix T31.  I am in the US and I know I am going to need a step up/down transformer/converter.  I know I can get one either on Amazon or Ebay, but any recommendations on Brands or models that work well?
