Recipe Requests / Muhammara« on: September 03, 2016, 01:25:22 pm »
Has anyone made this in a TM?
The recipe I have made before had wheat crackers in it like this one, http://www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Hot-and-Sweet-Red-Pepper-Dip-with-Walnuts-and-Pomegranates is there a general rule of thumb for settings to accomplish puree until smooth in a food processor? 3

I was trying to make a 2L wort starter (dry malt extract and water) for yeast for brewing in a TM21, got a little spooked at being able to boil that in the thermie without boiling over. I chickened out and poured it out into my Kenwood (3 L cooking capacity in 8 L bowl).
Any advice out there for how full a pitcher can safely be boiled with something prone to foaming up? 4

Proud new owner of a (120V) TM21 I found complete with Varoma and rollabout bag, but regrettably no paperwork.
I think I have found what info there is on converting recipes from the newer TMs, and the differences between the TM21 and the TM31. Any historians out there with a decoder ring for serial nos. to determine its age? So far I have only ground up sugars, but very impressed with it vs. Vitamix and food grinder attachment for Assistent mixer. Would there be many recipes for later TMs that only run in reverse? Wondering if a dull set of blades would be worth a try . . . Rex
