When adding six cold eggs to the water, the temperature drops considerably and takes a few minutes to return to 60 degrees. I have found that it is better to place the eggs in the TM basket to begin with, watch when the temperature first reaches 60 degrees, then reset the timer to the required time. Generally I buy XL or Jumbo eggs, so keep the eggs in the 60 degree water for five minutes.
