Making these again for morning tea tomorrow with my Thermo friends....1/2 with ham and cheese for the kids and then for the Mums I had to think of something more creative with what was in my fridge! Came up with garlic, sun dried tomatoes, basil, pinenuts and parmesan - will let you know how they taste tomorrow! Update - winner again!

This is the BEST bread recipe that I have used so far. Just as described - light feathery bread devoured in minutes. I made a double batch (with vegemite and cheese filling) and still have nothing left after one lunch sitting, and have had to forward the recipe to many. A WINNER with my 3yr old and 1 yr old. I am looking forward to making the BBQ sauce variation. YUM!

My mum (and now I) have always mixed in 1/2 tin (approx 220g) of Condensed tomato soup into the white/cheese sauce before pouring it over the pasta. Great flavour boost!

Recipe Name: Garlic & Herb Dip Book Name: EDC Tweaking details: I like garlic but it is overpowering in this recipe. I would use 1/2 clove of garlic. I also used at least 40g milk to make it a good consistency and also a pinch of salt. Score: 3/5

1. "Salty Butter" on request from an Irish friend - worked perfectly 2. Mayonnaise - fantastic 3. Capsicum and sundried tomato dip - YUM (too much vinegar though, had to add a bit of sugar and also added some philly cheese)
Tomorrow - My son's 3rd bday party
Broccoli salad, beetroot salad, onion gravy, vege patties and ice cream...

I followed the recipe - even mincing my own meat and the mixture was GREAT. I still prefer it oven baked for the crispy crust, but making the meat mix Thermi was too easy. The red sauce was very tasty too - i like it quite salty so I added a good teaspoon of vegeta to it.

I used light sour cream instead of yoghurt, and not as much broccoli (only because i didn't have enough), and left out the onion (I'm not a fan of raw onion) and it turned out beautifully....although doesn't everything that has sour cream in taste SO good? Making the same version tomorrow for a BBQ!

Hello thermomixers
Yes - day 4, 8 recipes completed with 100% success! Things have certainly changed in my kitchen - I now look forward to planning and cooking meals...lets hope the excitement lasts! (and lets hope the excitement of making dessert wears off!)
I am thrilled that my husband is now a changed man and now loves pasta (cooked from fresh ingredients) and my son is drinking his vegetables (shhh)!
I'm off now to browse for more great ideas and tips (love the onion and garlic peeling),
Thanks Narelle.
