I've just made this and I'm churning it as I type.

Next time I will perhaps grind the sugar down to a powder before adding the other ingredients as the mixture tasted a little grainy when I tasted it. but yummy all the same...

Hopefully my nearest and dearest will like it; she's the only one who likes peanut butter

You'll have to do what my missus did, she took me to a demo & it sold itself; we had one within a week - She didn't even have to bribe me with any bedroom activity  ;)  :-*

If you like ice-cream, can I recommend the Salted Caramel Maple Icecream recipe on this Forum - probably the best ice-cream I've ever made   ;)

Sounds lovely...

I made the absolutely beautiful leek and potato soup for tea the other night out of the ECB (UK)

It was stunning... I was very pleased with myself!

Even the kids loved it; they normally turn their noses up at the sight of onions and leeks  ;D

You may need to work out a roster for whose turn it is each day/hour - good luck

We already have one of those; My DW, our two children and I all share the jobs daily. We are all responsible for one meal each a day, i.e. One day breakfast, next day lunch, day after dinner and finally the last day, washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher. This rotates around the 4 of us - Some days it is easier getting blood out of a stone than getting the kids to help, but most of the time it works well  ;)

I can't see my DW & I arguing too much about the cooking - she's quite relieved that I take an interest TBH!

Hello all,

As you have probably guessed, I'm Shally's other half... I was kinda excited about getting a Thermomix too (after going to the demo.) I was really impressed with just what the TM could do and how I can improve my skill with help from the machine.

I'm looking forward to looking out for nice recipies and good ideas from this forum...

I have to admit, I have used the TM more than my DW so far, but I'm sure this'll change...

One of the reasons we bought the TM is to improve our diets and start eating fresher and more organic foods; eating less preservatives and 'off the shelf' foods. I'm really interested in making our own butter etc too...

So, this is just me just saying 'Hi!' Looking forward to much more reading and posting  :)
