Love this gnocchi. I always make it with the Arrabiatta Sauce from the Everyday Cook Book. Mmmmmm
Sooooooo freaking good. AND QUICK!

Mine came out really liquidy too - but a lot of the recipies seem to for me. I'm just learning to make sure I leave the little cup off while I cook and to omit any water that the recipe states. When I made this I ended up putting in some cornflour to try and thicken it a little. It really was way too watery though. BUT the flavours were still there and I can't wait to try it again. Definitely worth a second look.

*4 OUT OF 5*  :)

I just made this tonight. I omitted the water (as I usually do on all Thermomix recipies!) and it came out perfect. I was fairly tame on the cayenne as my two year old was going to eat it but I found it to be really yum. It's REALLY filling with the scone topping. Hubby (who's a fussy ex-chef) ate it all up and said it was really nice. This one's made the regular rotation I think! I agree that you could easily add a few veggies. My little one LOVED it and ate two bowls (I mixed a little natural yoghurt through it incase it was too spicy). :

P.S. I had leftover scone mixure so I cooked them separately into little biscuits. My daughter loves them and it's a nice change from all those sweet biscuits that she usually wants!

That was a great review of the Strawberry tart Amanda - even though the recipe was very hard to work through, you stuck at it.  I didn't buy the calendar for this very reason, the recipe books etc suck! This is what I find most disappointing with my purchase of the Thermomixer - the recipe books, not the machine itself.

I wholeheartedly AGREE!!! Most of the recipes suck and are too watery or are too flavourless. But the upside is that I'm learning a lot more about which herbs and spices can improve certain dishes! I LOVE my TM & really would love it if Women's Weekly got on board and did a book!
