interesting - I might try this original recipe way back at the start of this thread. I'm looking to get back into making my own yogurt (keep buying it, and it's so expensive), but am currently trialling A2 dairy products for digestive issues and there's no powdered A2 milk which rules out the TMX book recipe. Jalna do a potset natural A2 yogurt to use as a starter

I made these tonight (except with bought puff pastry) and they were great. I added about a 1/2tsp of ground cumin, and some garlic salt.
The only thing I will do differently next time is blitz the carrots separately first as I had to fish out a couple of chunks from the mix! (I didn't want to over-process the rest of the mix.)

did a tweak on this one tonight - sliced pork fillet instead of chicken, and broccoli & celery but no zucchini. Tastes great!

Mmm, this is great! Added a bit extra everything (except the sambal oelek - only used 1/2 tsp of that) so that there was enough for us & to send over to my friend.
Thanks for a great recipe; I can see this becoming a favourite.

This would probably freeze ok wouldn't it?
Am searching for a freezable tomato-free meal to make for a friend - how spicy does this one end up being?

Mmm, I just made these and they're delish. Thanks! I also made a half-batch, cut with my own cutter, although I think it's about the same size as the MC, and it made 12. Hadn't made scone in ages as my old oven just killed them, but I moved and have a nice old-fashioned gas oven now! I had some cream to use up, so this recipe does double duty as of course i whipped some cream to have on them

Thanks Julie ... yep, it's fine now. Mine's only a few years old too (before that I had one where the seals were stuffed and nothing cooked properly at all!), I've been meaning to get one of those thermometers for ages.

I just made this, and it is DELISH. But from the texture of the end slices I don't think mine is cooked all the way through either - I had it on 200 fan forced but may try lower next time. My oven does seem to run a little hot. I popped it back in for a bit with some foil over the top so it doesn't burn, hopefully that works.
So easy! I had to have the oven on to cook some lamb so just mixed this up and threw it alongside.

Mmm, this one's definitely a keeper! I reckon it has a similar texture/taste to Yogo (a popular chocolate dairy dessert over here) - kids love it! and grown-ups too ... I think next time I'll have to make a choc batch for the kids and the original coffee one for the grown-ups.

I just tried a chocolate (with cocoa ... any real chocolate doesn't last long in this house when I buy it ) version of this - yum!! Well, it's actually for dessert tonight but I just sneaked a spoonful. I didn't have as much cream as I thought, only about 70g, so I made the rest up with coconut cream as I'd already put everything else in.

Apparently the strained juice of half an orange, OR one crushed unflavoured Vit C tablet, or (not sure how much) sodium ascorbate powder ... haven't tried it myself, I did use bread improver when I first started baking bread, but I found once I switched to a proper, good quality baker's flour I didn't need the bread improver. Can't hurt though

I boycott Nestle ... makes it bloody hard now, though, can't buy an icecream when out without compromising my ethics

Mmm, I have one of these donut makers, it was the first appliance I ever received, when I was about 12 - that's 15 years ago!! Thanks for the recipe, will have to try with my donut-mad taste testers (The amount of recipe threads I've posted on today, if I just got OFF the computer, maybe I would manage to MAKE some of them.)

oh yum ,thanks - need to wait for a cooler day for this. I LOVE raisin toast RE: the bread improver q a few posts back, I know someone who uses a little orange juice or ascorbic acid instead, apparently the Vit C does the same thing? I don't buy bread improver as I don't really understand the ingredients, which turns me off things (and it contains soy, which Idon't avoid religiously but don't really like).
