Non Food Recipes / Re: Liquid Soap« on: July 22, 2010, 11:22:01 am »
I'm asking on behalf of a customer, it's the laundry powder. So do everything in the TM bowl and put the borax in afterwards (not whilst in the jug) and there should be no 'after taste'?

I have never made soap in my TM, do you get any soapy after taste/residue in the next thing you make in the TM bowl?
Thanks in advance 4
Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Re: butterfly installation« on: June 14, 2010, 03:13:09 am »
I hope this makes sense, but you will find that when you put it on the blades there is less movement in one position than the other - put the butterfly there.

Hi Julia.
I know how you feel when you say you are thinking about a TMX all the time, although it took me about 6 months to get around to purchasing one - I was lucky that I had a bit of a cash payout from when I resigned from my job to become a full time Mum. I really wish I had heard of them 4 years ago when I had my first baby. I got my DH to see it in action before I bought mine too, they seem to like the mechanical side of things and the speeds it can do! I absolutely love it and have since become a consultant. If you would like I can come and do an obligation free demo for you and your DH or you can PM me and I can talk over the payment options with you. Karen 6

Nothing is as quick as the TMX!
I love mine more and more each day. Especially when you run out of things like mayo or almond meal (yesterday) - no problem I can make some in the TMX! Much quicker than putting the kids in the car and driving to the shops LOL! 8

Hi I would really love to put my contact details down, but I can't work out how to hide my email in my post. I have tried what Thermomixer suggested, but it's just not working for me . When I try to add my address I have email me , it looks like it is leading to my email address but I haven't put one in there.....
Could someone please help me out? Thanks 10

Bread / Re: Isi´s easy Portuguese Rolls« on: February 01, 2010, 09:36:04 am »
I made these today - Yum!
They didn't turn out very crunchy, so I will leave them in for 25 minutes next time I make them. They are the best homemade bread I have made yet though! Thanks for sharing your recipes Isi, I can't wait to try the others . 12

Introduce Yourself / I got my Thermomix today :)« on: January 08, 2010, 01:13:22 pm »
Hello everyone, I'm new to the world of Thermomix. I received my TM31 today and have been having some fun playing around with some of the functions, and even managed to cook parts of my dinner in it!
The best thing so far.... the lack of dishes in the sink! I look forward to spending more time on the forum and hopefully making some recipe contributions/conversions - not just asking heaps of questions
