Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Sounds like it needs oiling« on: March 19, 2011, 04:02:47 am »
My Thermo sounds like it needs oiling. Is this normal as wasn't like it before? If it isn't normal then can anyone suggest what I can do to stop it?
Many thanks 3
CHRISTMAS / Christmas Muffins« on: December 19, 2010, 08:12:52 am »
I just used the standard muffin recipe in the EDC but at the end (10 seconds before finishing) through on 3 tablespoons of homemade fruit mince with half a tsp on cinnamon and a little freshly grated nutmeg. Topped them with a sprinkling of raw sugar and they were delicious - even if I say so myself.

Bread / Onion and Bacon Muffins« on: July 18, 2010, 02:05:45 am »
This is only my second post on this site but I have been lurking and making good use of my Thermomix - particularly at the weekend.
My family love savoury muffins so I made this recipe and thought I would share it with you. 100 grams bacon 1 onion 50 grams olive oil 50 grams butter 2.5 cups of self-raising flour 1 cup milk 2 eggs 100 grams Parmesan (plus a little extra for the top) salt and pepper 1/2 tsp baking powder a few drops of Tabasco (optional) Put onion and bacon in TM and chop for 3 seconds on 5. Add 50g olive oil and cook for 3 mins, 100, speed 1. Add all other ingredients and process for 40 seconds on speed 4. Put into muffin trays, top with Parmesan and cook for 20 - 25 minutes on 180 degrees c 5
Introduce Yourself / New to the Forum and Thermomix« on: June 11, 2010, 11:13:47 pm »I saw the machine in action about a year ago but trying to convince the OH that I NEEDED this was another story. This time I decided to have a demo at home and when I knew he was home - he was signing up before the lady had even packed the machine away. So here I am with my new TM delivered this Wednesday afternoon and since then I have made 2 lots of bread, arrabiata, spag bol, red Thai paste and curry, rice, soup and the chocolate spread for the 'Boy'! I am really looking forward to the next three days off so I can really get to town on it - I have printed out many recipes to use so look forward to a weekend in the kitchen!
