my thermo is also squealing on low.  It seems to squeal on low when cold, then when warms up a bit seems to stop. but has occasionally squealed when slowing down from high and regardless of speed.

Will be calling them tomorrow. Thank goodness still under warranty. Is this happening with many others?

Hi all, Just want to say thank you for this forum. its wonderful and has helped answer lots of questions. I have had my 'The-Man' 2 1/2 weeks now, and it currently home on top of my cooker (a ceramic cooktop and a lovely new bench space) I have not got one saucepan out nor, of course, used my cooktop since I bought it home from my wonderful Thermomix Lady, Steph.

I was hooked the moment I was in the demo, and well, believe it totally, that it can change your life in the kitchen.

I have a toddler, am 6 months pregnant and was almost totally over cooking of any sort, especially with a lovely fussy little boy.  And anything to make that life in the kitchen easier, i was up for it.  My son loves, almost, anything i serve him now. YAY, as he gets involved also.

I am a dedicated organic, and alternative and fresh food person.  I am currently trying out wheat free and or Yeast free bread recipes (not Gluten free) So please anyone have any links to a good spelt grain or other bread loaf recipe?  yeast I will use for the moment until summer comes and i can make my own sour dough culture.

Anyway, THANKS again for this forum, Look forward to reading more and trying more.

New love of my thermomix (The-Man) in my kitchen.

Breakfast / Re: Scrambled Eggs - compiled by Janine Babauskis

Hi there, New to Forum! Tried scrambled eggs.

Improvised with three eggs, slosh of milk and slosh of cream and a good dash of olive oil.  (sorry will measure things next time, find it hard to measure!)
Fluffed them or beat (with or without Butterfly) for about 15 sec/SP 8. then  sp2/ 7 mins on 100, then sp2/ 6 mins on 60.   Wonderful scrambled eggs.

No matter, however, what i use to make scrambled eggs....they ALWAYS require a scrub of the pan job! Was not too bad in the TMX, but certainly no harder than cleaning my saucepan or frypan (I don't have non stick pans!)

Thanks for the forum, it is wonderful! and i've had my 'the-man' for a week and half and have not touched my cooktop/stove!  ;D
