What do you mean by insulated TMX?  lid closed?  Or put in thermoserve?  I've made the In the Mix quince paste twice with great success.  LOVE it - no more burn splatters on my arm (& dog)!!.  Don't have Devil of a Cookbook yet but will check out the link.

OK, going to be brave and give this recipe a go - our tree has finally come into fruit after a couple severe pruning...wish me luck.  Will be following all the great tips on this convo!   :)
