I'm REALLY excited, because I met the thermomix in professional kitchens at home in the UK  but never dreamed I would have one myself...
Lol about working full time etc... Most of my life I've worked two jobs ...or a lot of overtime... Its going to be great to do something non-nursing for a change and something I'm passionate about too!

Hi, I'm in perth too... And My children broke up this week ..... I made the mistake of doing my christmas store cupboard shopping a week too early and most of the "goodies" have gone already.... But I suppose that's what happens when you have 4 "children" and work as well... THIS time I explained that anything not in the christmas cupboard that I brought today wont be replaced!!!!!

Have my fingers crossed that my thermie arrives in time to take some of the load off me on The Day!!!!

I lived in the UK until 4 years ago. I had "met" the thermomix in professional kitchens... But never thought it would be somehhing I could afford for my own kitchen... I'm sure it will become huge there, inspite of the massive range of decent ready meals available, once foodies and healthies see them on the cooking shows....

I honestly believe that The recession and current economic climate in the UK wont help people to decide to invest in their long term health ..... Not when a dozen jam donuts costs 99p .... Unless the government promotes good food and healthy eating skills better... And that has to start in schools....

Introduce Yourself / Hi....

Hi.. I'm Edwina, but only my mother calls me that when I'm in trouble... The rest of the civilised world knows me as Eddie.. I'm mum to 4 ... Work full time as a nurse here in WA and have just signed up as a consultant.... Hoping my thermomix will arrive in time to help take the pressure off me at christmas, but expecting it to be here by the New Year...

Having seen one in action at a friends house, known about them for years in the uk and spent the last two weeks on youtube watching it I'm SO pleased to be owning my own Bimby... And spreading the message about fast healthy eating here in Australia....

Who knows, I may even go back to baking bread every day like I did for the first 15 years of my marriage lol...

Am SO excited... And Not just about christmas.....
